The Fort Mill High School Marching Band is the largest student origanization on campus.
The band has won a total of 24 S.C. Marching Band State Championships in 3 different classes since 1976, most recently capturing the 4A title in 2014.

The Fort Mill High School Band was the 2005 Western Carolina Tournamnet of Champions Champion.
The Fort Mill High School Marching Band has also been featured in the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade, Pasadena Rose Parade, has traveled to Dublin, Ireland to perform in the 2013 St. Patricks Parade, and performed at the American Military Cemetery in Normandy, France, in 2016.
The Fort Mill High School Wind Symphony was a featured ensemble at the 2014 Music For All National Concert Band Festival.
Fort Mill High School's Boys Soccer Team is also the 2012 3A SC State Champions
